Rob Pitt
Rob joined Finning in 2004 with a career spanning over 10 years in the world-wide power generation arena - working and living overseas for several global blue chip companies, with extensive technical sales experience in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East.
With a Mechanical Engineering degree from Leeds University and an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Rob has been responsible for the development of many multi-million pound projects throughout the world.
As Head of Power Solutions, Rob and his team focus on electric power generation opportunities utilising Caterpillar diesel and gas reciprocating engine generator sets as a basis for complete power solutions. Target markets include mission critical emergency power applications such as data centres, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sectors.
Continuous power generation applications include CHP, landfill, sewage and mines gas.
